Georgia Townsend started playing tennis at Teddy’s Toddler Tennis program when she was a toddler. In 2018, Georgia was awarded a Tennis Scholarship to play in the USA at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. In 2021, she joined the New Mexico State University in USA to continue her Tennis Scholarship.
Career Highlights
2019-20 (Sophomore)
Competed in four fall tournaments for Pacific, going a combined 7-8. Did not compete in spring competition due to injury.
2018-19 (Freshman)
Went 3-3 in singles as a freshman at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots. Competed in two doubles matches in tournament play.

2019-20 (Sophomore • Pacific) | Put forth a record of 7-8 in fall tournaments but did not compete in the spring due to injury.
2018-19 (Freshman • Pacific) | Constructed a 3-3 record in singles action which included a 2-2 showing in the spring season…Played exclusively in flights five and six…Posted a 1-0 against WCC singles competitors.
