Testimonial: Teddy’s Junior Tennis Programme
As Sports Director of the Lords Sports Club, Perth, Western Australia, I am fortunate to be involved in the coordination and planning of many innovative sporting programmes, covering a vast array of sports.
Teddy’s Junior Tennis programme is one of the most innovative and successful programmes implemented into the Lords Sports Complex over the last 5 years.
Teddy himself, is a man of unbelievable patience, possessing a rapport with the children envied by most coaches. The programme now boasts nearly 200 children attending weekly. These children range in ages from 3 years upwards. It is amazing to see how quickly these children improve their hand/eye coordination and· so quickly adapt to the discipline required to participate in this advanced tennis programme for children.
The children have now become a highlight for our sports club members to view during their visits to our complex. Representing the Lords Sports Club management, we are delighted to have Teddy operate his programme at Lords and enjoy the added exposure it offers to our club.
